Level 2 Seminar Room, Building 57, The University of Queensland, St Lucia

We are delighted to offer the 3rd CBNS Animal Imaging Workshop in September 2019. This workshop covers a range of important aspects of animal imaging, through a theoretical component and hands-on session. It includes information on:

  • Optical imaging
  • Position Emission Tomography (PET)
  • Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
  • Multi-Spectral Optoacoustic Tomography (MSOT)

The workshop will look at the following topics and questions:

  • How do I optimise my nanomaterials for imaging?
  • What questions can I answer with each modality?
  • Which modality should I choose?
  • Practical sessions with each instrument
  • What facilities and resources are available to me?
  • How do I prepare my samples?
  • What types of data are obtained in an animal imaging experiment?
  • Mouse models and ethics

Please note: This workshop is strictly for CBNS members only. Please ask your supervisor for approval and registration password before registering.

This workshop is an activity of the CBNS Education Committee. Our thanks to the UQ’s Centre for Advanced Imaging for providing the facilities.
