CBNS members will be visiting local secondary schools to talk to students about the research undertaken at our Centre, as well as the journey towards a career in research. The objective of this event is to provide a two-hour program for students in Year 9/10.
The program includes presentations from one of our senior research leaders, an early career researcher and a PhD student, thus providing perspectives on their research projects, the journey into a research career and training as a scientist following completion of high school.
This will be followed by interactive experiments that will allow the students to get an understanding of the bio-nano research undertaken by our Centre.
