Dr Hanna Gustafsson
Research Associate
University of South Australia

Biography

Hanna originally comes from Gothenburg, Sweden and joined the CBNS in 2017 as a postdoctoral research fellow Professor Clive Prestidge‘s group.

Hanna did her PhD in Bioscience at Applied Surface Chemistry, Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden, and then joined the Biological Physics group for a three-year postdoc, also at Chalmers.

Her research interests include studying interactions between biomolecules and biomaterials, in particular, mesoporous silica from a surface analytical perspective. In her current research project, the goal is to develop a new generation of drug carriers for a controlled release of poorly soluble drugs using lipids and porous silica nanoparticles.
