Biography

Dr Paulina Ramírez-García was awarded her PhD in November 2019.

Paulina was a PhD student within the nanomedicine group at CBNS but is also working with Professor Nigel Bunnet‘s group. Her main supervisor is CBNS Director Professor Tom Davis, followed by Dr Nicholas VeldhuisDr John Quinn and Dr TinaMarie Lieu. Before joining CBNS, Paulina worked in the Neurobiology laboratory of the University of Santiago de Chile, in Chile from 2014-2015. She is a Biochemist by training and gained her degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of Valparaiso, Valparaiso in Chile.

Paulina’s main research area is nanomedicine and neuroscience.
