I have completed Bachelor of Science (Degree with Honours) in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Melbourne, Australia in 2011 . During my  Honours research project under the supervision of Dr Terry Mulhern at Bio21 Institute of the University of Melbourne, I tried to solve the crystal structure of Lyn kinase protein because of its involvement in Lupus and many other disease such as Diabetes and Cancer. My project mostly involved protein expression, purification and characterization. Following my graduation I have worked  as Research Assistant in Sugar Research Australia (SRA) from April 2012-April 2015. Here I took part in the variety development program and carried out various plant tissue culture based experiment. I have started PhD program in April 2015 at Australian Institute for Bioengineering and Nanotechnology (AIBN), University of Queensland. My PhD project aims to develop ” fluorescently labelled  reagentless biosensor for continuous analyte monitoring”under the supervision of Dr Simon Corrie in Professor Mark Kendall’s group.
