Chelsea is working in CBNS CI Professor Pall Thordarson’s group. She completed a Bachelor of Medicinal Chemistry with first class honours at UNSW before commencing her PhD studies and joining CBNS. Her thesis is on “Novel glyoxamide derivatives as antimicrobial peptide mimics” and she is currently working on targeted drug delivery using decorated polymersome systems. Her other research interests include synthetic organic chemistry and drug delivery through the blood-brain barrier.
