Vidhishri is working in the Nanosensor Engineering Lab (NEL) headed by CBNS CI Dr Simon Corrie. Vidhishri graduated in 2014 with a Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical Engineering) from Monash University and briefly worked as a R&D tax consultant in Melbourne. She joined Simon Corrie’s group in 2016 as a PhD student and is co-supervised by Associate Professor Ana Traven from the Fungal Pathogens and Gene Expression Control Laboratory (Dept of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Monash). Her main area of research is in vivo diagnostics for catheter-associated infections and her research interest lies in nanomedicine, biosensors, diagnostics as well as infectious diseases.
